NOTICE TO SEASONAL WATER USERS – October 6, 2025

Greater Ramsey Water District has been monitoring current weather conditions and forecasted temperatures.  With the nearly record temperatures last week, the cold weather snuck up on us and it looks like fall is here to stay. Curb stops will be shut off for the season this week  - October 6-10, 2025.  Please take measures to protect your meter if temperatures drop below freezing.  You may disregard this notice if you have already contacted us to shut off your service for the season.

This notice is also provided by email to our seasonal users if an email address is on file at the office.  Please contact our office if you wish to receive these notices by email. 

Final water meter readings for the 2025 season are due and can be submitted with your payment, on our website www.grwdnd.com, email or by calling it into our office. A final reading is not required if we have installed reading equipment on your meter. 

Please make arrangements to remove your water meter (keep radio attached to meter if one was installed) and store in a frost-free location to avoid replacement of meter parts next spring.  We also recommend water be drained from the service line extending up from the shut-off (curb stop) and to cover the pipe opening (duct tape).

If you would like water service available for a longer period of time during the year, contact our office for options that will work for your desired use.
